@imhermomduh, I made a heating pad (a sock with rice and I warmed in the micro wave) I massaged my breast with that and I pumped and got it out!

I feel you momma! I read that you said it goes away and comes back? How big is this lump? With my first I had this pea sized lump that came in went for a while but eventually my boobs just worked it out and went away. I just used heat and the shower thing to soothe it until then. The shower thing works with engorgment real well also.

@imhermomduh, the sucker is still clogged but I'm feeling too crummy to get in the shower again haha

Also I just realized this was like 13 hours ago!

@imhermomduh, I wish I would of read this, I just took a shower and pumped too but I would of tried that!

This is weird but get in a warm/hot shower- get on all fours and have the water hit the back of your shoulders where the breasts are. It'll help loosen some stuff up and then pump/ feed.

Get lecithin. I had a clogged duct two weeks in and took lecithin 3 times a day for a few days and massages and pumped. I know a duct is getting clogged if I feed and pump and still feel pained. I pop a lecithin pill and it clears it up. I will take one a day when I get back to work.

@bodaciousb6, its not red and warm its just a hard lump. I've been nursing on that side a Lil extra , it let up a little but it comes back a Lil while later.

Massaging it in a warm shower helped for me.

@reznor, antibiotics & draining your boob completely of milk every feeding or pumping. My midwife wanted me to pump to make sure cos my spot was so big. question. do you have a red warm spot on your your boob?
