Kind of nervous of being induced now lol. How was your experience ? I know that it's 100x worse then…

My active labor went fast but it was extremely painful. The contractions came very hard and fast like every 45 minutes. I fine talking on phone and I felt a little discomfort but then I had a bowl movement and my contractions kicked in really fast and hard for 40 minutes.

I had back to back painful contractions for 24 hours but did not dilate the whole time and ended up having a c section. I would just make sure that you are comfortable knowing that there is a high risk that you will end up having a c section

Mine went fine! Of course other than the pain ..it was a better experience than my first time which was not induced

Oh no were praying and putting it in Gods hands I will not have a c section. I'm already dilated like 3cm. I hope I don't stay 3 lol @jasminebowman

@ambyjay7, I dilated to fast and was to late by time I thought about getting the medicine both with my son and daughter. If your plans are to get medicine don't wait. I didn't want medicine anyway but the pain was so intense I wanted the medicine.

Oh okay. I want to get it but I just don't want to have back problems after. I'm kind of scared to get the epidural I know if Yu move it can paralyze you. I'm just thinking the worse lol @madilynn16

I personally didn't want an epidural I was going to get the medicine through the IV. I personally wouldnt let anyone stick me me in my back with a needle that is extra added pain I didnt want. The medicine in the IV takes two hours to take affect. But it could cause the baby to be drowsy. That is why I just breath through my contractions I found something in room to concentrate on. It is more breathing through the contractions. I had took birthing classes when I was pregnant with my son 8 years ago. But every persons lab is different I have babies pretty fast once I am in active it is usually only 45 minutes and my water breaks right before my babies come out. Some women water breaks hours before. You just have to know your body when you are you are having contractions. I have always have bowel movements right before I go into active labor.@ambyjay7, You will do great just think about that you will have a beautiful baby in end.
