I just asked the baby's dad "Are you ever going to ask how the baby (which is yours as well) is doing? Or you really don't care?"
Haven't heard anything yet.It's so rare if he does ask. When he does ask he's rude and immature about it. The other day he asked me "so is the baby going to be ok? Like mentally? Not dumb like you?" He hasn't told anyone in his family at all about our baby. I just want to know now if he plans to be involved, if he really does care. I want to hear it from him. So if he doesn't, the sooner I can cut him off. Its so stressful :(

I would just focus on the baby for right now. Guys are immature and jealous sometimes. He may change when the baby comes

Sounds like cut off time already to me!That's just me though.It just seems like he doesn't care to be involved in his child's life,doesn't care for his baby,and doesn't respect you as the mother either.If I were you I'd cut him off already.Better to start now then stress later.Once he knows you don't care if he cares or not anymore,it'll cut deep.

That's what I'm leaning towards. It's stressing me out a lot lately. I really don't need the extra stress, the lack of care and disrespect from him. Just makes me sad that the baby won't have a dad :( I don't care if he wants nothing to do with me, but the baby. It's so disheartening. Thank you for the advice ❤ @roxell

No problem.It's great to have the father,and even better having both parents together in a relationship,but I'm sure you alone with give so much love and care.

I actually had a worse problem w my child's father. He didn't tell anyone in his family, and he kept denying her. He didn't want anything to do w her, he just wanted to party. So I took it upon myself to tell his sister about the baby. 4 months later he stepped up as a father and now he's in her life full time, which makes my daughter very happy. Telling his family kind of forced him to take responsibility and grow up. Of course it has its down sides. He's still an asshole to me. But if my daughter is happy and he's treating her w love, I don't care how disrespectful he is to me. I just tend to ignore it. So maybe you should take matters into your own hands. See what happens.

Oh wow :( I was about to take it upon myself to tell his sister as well. I spoke to him this morning and thank God he said he was going to finally tell his family. I wish you the best with your adorable little girl ❤❤ @emily_
