not so much as a diet but to cut down on their feedings. when my son was 4 months old his doctor told me he was too fat. he was in the 99th percentile for babies his age. so his doctor told me to feed him less formula. he weighed 21 pounds. now he weighs 25 pounds and is in the 96th percentile so hes gone down even though hes fatter lol
@steppphh, if he's breastfeeding don't worry about his weight! he will get more chunky! I was always told my daughter was borderline obese, she was just a chunkers once she hit 1years old she stretched out and is a skinny mini now! I'd say don't worry about it until they start walking and engaging in physical activities
