I wouldn't do the nexplanon, I had it and if you want to do that one I would suggest you try the depo first since they have the same base hormone in them. You pretty much said you don't want any of the bc methods that are offered lol so you could always do the pill, foam or condoms. I've heard the patch is awesome but thats the only one I havent tried yet.

@girlmommy, I know I did lol. they all have so many cons or risks but I know I have to pick one. lol. I was thinking of maybe trying to patch again and hoping my skin doesnt react the same as before. I had it when I was super young to regulate my periods. what is foam?

I haven't known of any bc to not make you gain weight honestly. I know a lot recommend the arm in plant but a lot of side effects are worse than an actual period. my cousin and sister have periods 2 to 3 times a month, pregnancy symptoms all the time, my sister gained about 30 lbs on it throughout 2 years. every birth control has its own side effects. you just have to basically decide which way you want to keep a baby out lol

@ssdj4, ugh. thats how I was before I ever got on bc. heavy periods, sometimes twice a month. the worst cramps ever. I hate that we have to pick something and deal with all the side effects.

I was on the pill for about 6 months. I ran out and got pregnant RIGHT after. I hate birth control in general as a personal choice. I'm getting tubes tied after I have my son so I don't have to worry about it. @twinmommy123

@ssdj4, yeah I am super bad at taking pills in general so I dont even wanna chance that. Im not dome having babies so I csnt gets mt tubes tied but I dont need any more for a while lol

lol I figured as much. idk I had to set an alarm for my pills. I would forget otherwise

If I ever decided to get on bc again(which I wont thanks to nexplanon) I would do the pill or patch, it is a pain in the ass kinda since you have to set an alarm but at least you can stop it anytime you want to and it wont hinder your fertility. Since you want to have more children in the future that is important.
