Alright ladies, I need advice. Since I am actually starting this wedding planning... I want my wedding party pretty small, so two bridesmaids at max. I was going to have my best friend who was my college roommate and then a girl who was my best friend for over 12 years growing up (her and I aren't super close now due to well life) but we had always said we'd be in each other's wedding and I still love the girl like my sister even though she never tries to contact me. Anyways... Is it weird for me to ask her to be apart of my wedding even though we aren't like bffs anymore? I don't have a ton of close girlfriends, like her and I were anymore. I wanted to make a box thing for both of them asking them to be in my wedding but don't what to do. I was also thinking maybe I should have my future sister in law in the wedding, we don't know each other extremely well but I know we'll be spending a ton of time together once Edith is born and she's going to be helping me with the wedding. Ah help lol

I had the same problem. I asked a girl that I was BFFs with in high school, but dropped off the face of the earth as of recently. she was honored.

I'm getting married in about a month, 30 wks prego lol. I have my best friend since 6th grade as MOH, then my hairstylist/friend of like 4 years, then his sister. I would probably opt for his sister, but that's up to you. I wouldn't say I'm super close to his sister, but we're getting closer. One of my other best friends is around 15 years older than me so I asked her to be my personal attendant bc I wanted her as a part of my wedding party. I have a friend I was great friends w but barely talk or see each other now....(we weren't talking when she got married, living across the state,) invited her and hubby to wedding and they're coming, to my surprise.

@futuremrspost, yeah it's his sister in-law, so his brothers wife but still she's going to be a constant in my life and aunt to our baby. Plus she and my mom threw my baby shower, and I've already asked her to come along to look at venues with us. Anyways, 3 wouldn't be bad either for bridesmaids. Plus his brother I'm sure will be in the wedding so I'd rather have people in it that have (and will) play a role in our lives down the road. And the girl who was my best friend for 12+ years, we aren't on bad terms now and she came to my baby shower. And really I feel like those 3 will be around once I have Edith in October.

Oh nice! I know a ton of people from that way. I went to UCM 6 years ago :) and my brother lives out there. Love KC!

Oh sweet! ya I know some people out in stl and I lived there for a school year and went to umsl....natty bridge road dorms lol. turned 21 out there...almost 14 years ago... lol. oh gosh. @snozzberries
