Your doctor cannot FORCE you to have a cesarean!!! Breech babies CAN be delivered vaginally. I know this because I just did it in February. I knew my rights and, because there wasn't a medical complication barring the delivery I wanted, I made sure I got just that--unmedicated vaginal delivery, delayed cord clamping, first two hours uninterrupted so we could nurse and bond. (ALL birth is natural.) PLEASE know your rights. Research some medical journals, talk to your doctors. Get a second opinion if needed. YOU have to be your strongest ally/advocate in your birth decisions. If you don't get what you want, only YOU will be disappointed. THE DOCTOR GETS PAID EITHER WAY.
