been having contractions for the last hour being 4 to 5 minutes apart but only lasting 40-50 seconds then I got up to walk around my house and then I got shooting pains in my back that felt so bad I had to sit down. but I still feel some pain in my back on the left bottom side...

my contractions stopped.its werid cause it was like this last night too. I had contractions last night every 7 to 10 minutes lasting 30-40 seconds then they just stopped now tonight I had those contractions but it's like when I get up to walk around or move they stop.
I was told if they last longer than an hr to go in.
thats labor hunny. you should get check out. they can last anywhere from 30seconds to a few minutes. that close together you need to go get checked out to be safe.
i would call your hosp youre delivering at and explain whats happening. if anything theyll monitor you and see if its braxton hicks or actual labor starting.
