So moms who breastfeed, when did you introduce a paci? because sometimes i feel like my daughter is just suckin on my boob for comfort. & the hospital said not to because it could interfere with breastfeeding but she latches perfectly and has since birth.

I tried to introduce my son but he was never interested, I know giving him a bottle interfered with me breastfeeding

I tried with my daughter around 3 months she didn't like it or bottles

I waited until just this week because he was over eating and refluxing bad due to pacifying on the boob. I only use it if he has eaten in the last 2 hours though. I end up only using it a couple times/24 hours

Gave it to my daughter the day we came home because she was sucking on me for comfort. Never had nipple confusion or anything.

I never wanted my daughter to have a pacifier but after about three weeks being home I caved in and gave her one. It was a life saver and she still eats perfectly from the boo.

@ninanicole2, I gave my baby a pacifier when he was 9 days old. He has never had nipple confusion.
