Was anyone else prescribed Norcos after they gave birth? Is it really safe to take even when you breast feed? Nurses and doctors said yes but I feel uneasy about it

yes you can!! I got my wisdom tooth pulled 2weeks pp and they offered it to me but said it may make baby sleepy
i take them now but only if i really need it other wise i take the ibuprofen they gave me
I did for like 2 weeks? Then I stopped because they made me feel gross
they tried to prescribe them to me but I'm allergic so they just gave me ibuprofen and I was fine
I wasn't prescribed it after birth but I had my gallbladder removed when my son was 3 months and was scared to take them so my milk supply dropped big time. You are just starting out so I understand why you are scared but they we totally safe to take. If you want to be sure double check with a lactaion consultant for reassurance
