#VentBegin....It's sad when you gotta make a PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT about your foodstamps...I'm tired of the begging, the expecting to be fed, and ppl just eating or drinking up whats not theirs. Last time I checked I applied for foodstamps do myself and my children could eat. I guess I'm everybody's mother since everybody wanna be fed. I wish I could afford bills, gas, food, misc...etc off of one check so I don't have to be on govt assist. Ppl making $17+ && still looking for handouts. My bf's family is the WORST about this. They just expect me to go hungry to feed their a**es...majority of the family is severely obese, you ain't hungry if you're overweight! Not trying to be a bxtch but as I'm sitting here, stomach growling, I can help but to be pissed off. My bf gets my card && then wants to be the EBT Santa..his a** ain't covered on my fs either so he better tread lightly. Treat your food as a BILL...you need it so put aside for it. #VentOver

I don't think it's right to take food out of kids mouths. My brother tried to ask me one time to buy some stamps from him and as much as I needed food I wasn't going to. I would have been taking food out of my nieces mouth. If I could get approved I would never lend any or sell any to anyone. Not a soul. Forget that.

i again with everything but its true some people cant get approved. my family dont get approved and some months i have to buy food over paying the other bills but my son doesnt go hungry i always make sure i have food to feed my family over any special bill like internet cable or cell phones those are wants not needs

@junesmommy_15, Yes, I know bc my bf made an arrangement with his sister bc she just recently had been denied stamps but my bf wanted to smoke weed && needed gas so before discussing with me..he made a deal with his sister, we spend about $40 on them and they have him $30. I was pissed..still am bc now me && my kids have nothing to buy food with and no food left until the 13th. I buy food for him and that's pushing it. I understand for some ppl it is helpful to buy stamps but I don't get $1000 and I don't have extra to spare. Your brother is nice for offering it && you didn't beg.. these ppl beg or just believe what mine is theirs.

@mommyofallboys671, If ppl can't get approved something is wrong with the system. Like single ppl with no children or no disabilities get fs..which isnt right bc that could be given to families who cant always stretch their check to make ends meet. I do understand that but at the end of the day that's the systems fault and their problem. Even tho I get stamps I can't feed his family just bc of that. I don't mean to be rude to them at all but I feel like it's more selfish on their end to EXPECT me to always be the way they get food. Sometimes they even ask for big thing of pepper, salt or hot sauce...like come on now. They pay every bill and then go buy extra shxt to live above and beyond their means just to go hungry and wanna complain about food.

@mommyofallboys671 Same Here. We have to really be wise with money. @ariliyahzihmommy3 My brother only offered because he wanted money to get something to smoke. I denied his offer because I don't think people should be selling something they get for their children. I would have been pissed.

@junesmommy_15, exactly you have to be very wise its crazy to me because we are a single income family but ny husband makes to much money they say.

@mommyofallboys671 You have to have so much for them to give anything. I don't understand buy I guess that's how it is. I just started a new job to help my husband out. After all the bills are paid there isn't always much left to get food.

@junesmommy_15, ik...when I found out he made arrangements for that reason I gave him earfuls for days..still bxtching. His sister && them didn't ask for awhile lot but even a little bit could make us struggle at the end for food. Buying food from fast food places for 2 growing children plus 2 adults is expensive and doesn't always full us up. Plus I use stamps when the baby runs out of formula. It's just a headache!

@junesmommy_15, i worked the first year of my sons life then he was diagnosed with asthma and was sick all the time so it made more since for me to stay home and take care of him and now we are expecting baby #2 and after daycare of two babies i wouldnt make much. so i go to school online to get a better job so we can afford daycare and me working.

@mommyofallboys671, My MIL said I needed to put my 2 yo in daycare bc I had a rcs in July and having a little baby plus an active toddler at home would be hectic on me so she had us put her in...then after 2 weeks of her paying she started complaining to my bf that he needed to pay the daycare and that she couldn't...well I understand she was trying to help me (us) but you can't just offer help then just expect my bf to take over when she never brought it up to him in the first place and she was the one fussing at us to get the daycare application to start her. With me being out on my 6 weeks..My 2nd was paying the house, my car insurance plus his and needing had for both of us for my appts and for him to go to work, diapers, wipes, and pull ups had to be factored in....the only reason she didn't get pulled out of daycare of bc my FIL stepped up and said they will make sure they pay the daycare every week.
