When I met my in laws they yelled at me for sitting in my father in laws seat, like freaked out it was so uncomfortable, it wasn't even like I was at the head of the table it was a freaking square table. My FIL also yelled at me for not looking him in the eyes and swearing to take care of his son. I honestly thought he was joking when he was all, "you love my son that means you love him are you going to take care of him?" I laughed and said of course, he said, "WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING DO YOU THINK THIS IS A JOKE?!" And just blankly stared at me. Here I am three months deep and not even sure about him and I definitely left crying my eyes out. His mom apologized but his dad never did. That almost ruined our relationship I was like man you're cute but boy bye 🙅🏽 now I live with them and I still hold a grudge. I don't ever talk to his dad.
