Nystatin didn't work for my son. You may need to get fluconazole if you aren't using that already. I used that and in 5 days gone. Hasn't come back since. Thrush is super stubborn. Also make sure you don't have it because I'll just pass back and forth between you and baby.

How would I know if I have it?? And when should I call the dr back ? Cages it's still in his mouth and I have one more dose to give him in the am @jessica0830

@kaela3, you'll feel a dull pain in your breast or they'll feel extra warm. You might even notice feeding is more painful. Even if you don't notice it make sure you clean your breast after every feed to be safe and I would call in about a week. Thrush isn't that bad as long as it's not painful for him and causing him not to want to eat. If it's still not gone in a week after you're done with the dosage call and also see if he can prescribe an antifungal for your nipples as well!

@kaela3, oh ok. But still make sure you're sterilize the nipples really well and if he's using a paci sterilize that too after he uses it. But give it a few days and if you still see no change give his doctors call.
