bumper or no bumper for crib?

I got a mesh bumper for my little girls crib and I really like it. :)

They are great after they turn 1 but skip it before then because the risk is not worth the cute

I don't like them. I like to be able to see Z through the slots while I'm sitting next to his crib or laying down next to it.

I don't think thare worth the risk

no bumper my opinion and it's a huge risk
