For a while now when I get frustrated I automatically yell... Before I would repeat myself or talk calmly but now it's a yell. I asked her to clean up her crayons and she took her good ole time and I yelled... I went to tuck her in and I said lay down but she laughed and mumbled something and I yelled ... I just keep telling
@bianca_rose I tell myself all the time I will work on yelling and then do it anyways and feel guilty after. And now I'm pregnant I'm even more short tempered and feel 100% worse after
Come up with another punishment that you can warn her with. I started making my son write 25-50 sentences (depending what it is he's doing) like i will not...whatever it is. So now after I say it once I let him know, next time I say it you're writing 25 sentences. He HATES it so it's been really effective. She's a little younger so you could always start small you know. And I have a talk with him after he's done writing about respect and listening

It's hard, it gets so frustrating sometimes, I have a son that just turned 8

Taking away his iPod or tv is always a good one too.

Omg it's not you, believe me! It's something about this age, to me it's worse than the toddler ages.
