have a question for you mommies what wld you do if you felt your child was being traumatized in a way at the sitters house it's not the sitter it's the husband. but he takes my daughters silky (security blanket) and says that's my silky and just keeps doing it over and over to her. it was so bad one day that she had a very hard time sleeping iWork full time right now but I plan on turning in my notice this week when I go back to work. but honestly do not want my daughter traumatized but not sure what else I can do. don't really have anyone else who could watch her. advice please

I would have a talk with the actual caregiver. See what she says or how she responds. Use your mama intuition, if you think something isn't right, go with your gut.

@sam.g, I have been thinking about it and that's is exactly what I'm going to do as well as tell him to stop it's traumatic to her I mean she is two years old for God's sake.

Yeah, sometimes things that seem like joking or teasing are a little more harmful than people realize. When my son comes, I will have a strict No Tickling rule. I don't care what anyone says, no tickling my kid. Period. People used to do it to me as a kid because they thought my response was so funny. I guess I used to say, "Leave alone me!" and they thought it was hilarious. Ummm, hello?! I am a little kid trying to explain that I don't like that. Ugh.

My husband and I have a clear understanding that he can't tickle me. I am 34, and it is still a huge trust thing for me. I need to know that I can trust him to touch me and that it will never be traumatic. I fully feel that you need to listen to what your kids say and put your foot down if they need you to. Don't make me get all mama bear on you, because I will.

Мама двоих (младенец)
Aw the poor thing. I agree, some people think it's funny but it's not, it's teasing an innocent little toddler. I'd talk to her and depending on her response find someone else

@sam.g, in some countries tickling is considered a form of torture. yes and ppl will see the mama bear in me if it does not stop after I ask this time. I'm almost 22 wks pregnant with our second daughter and I'll be damned if your going to tease my child after I have told you to stop. @bianca_rose
