I think it's fair to wait until they are old enough to tell you that they want them. I also think it is far from child abuse and if it isn't your kid who are you to say anything lol

Child abuse is going a bit far but I think until they ask for it, you shouldn't do it. They are going to have to live with their ears forever! It's up to them. My niece got hers pierced right before 2nd grade because she had been asking for months.

That's also saying they're gonna have to live with their names forever lol so where do we actually draw the line? @kenitra

I think circumcision for either gender is child abuse!! Piercing ears is fine.. Kind of like a shot... They can always do it later if they want

I have no strong opinion but I think it's a hole in their body so let them ask if they want it. I got mine pierced when I was 5 or 6 because I asked. And my stepdaughter is very girly and 7 years old but says she doesn't want her ears pierced right now 😂

Just got both my girls done the day they turned 3 months! I had mine done when I was a baby and do not feel like it was something of a big deal. They both did great and when they are older there is a chance they will want to do a lot more than just one small hole in their ears. @bigmommaflo They look stinking adorable!

definitely not, Idk of I will when she is a baby. id like to let her decide. and as for circumcision, idt that is abuse either. But this is just my opinion

Child abuse? Well someone get ready to call cps because I can't wait to pierce my daughter's ears when she turns 6months. I wouldn't recommend doing it any earlier than that tho. I just saw they do it at some hospitals to newborns. But I think it's best to wait til at least 6 months.

I got my ears pierced as a baby and once as an adult. I don't see it as a big deal for a baby to have her ears pierced
