Question ladies, those of you who plan to bottle feed, when you take your boxes of pre sterilised…

All mine just drank it as it was room temp x

Have u got the bottles with teats in box? I just used them as they came spesh with a section there was never anyone around to help if id of wanted it heating up anyway x

I used the pre-made milk in the bottles which you can give as is whilst in Hopsital. Even once home I still give milk at room temp. Both my boys have liked it like that @hawkie75

I've packed my bottled milk but hadn't even given it a thought about a warmer. I think I'll just do room temp.x

@safiamammy1, @sara-lou @titch.82 yes I'm going to get the ones with teats on, yes I'm hoping baba will like room temp as I did that with my son and he didn't mind, mind you I have a prep machine so doesn't that warm the bottles slightly lol

My hospital wouldn't allow me to take milk in the tub , I was allowed to bring my own bottles and they provided a steriliser and ready made milk for me .. I was there 5 days, once my milk came in I offered Mollie my breast so she had both

Some hospitals don't even let you make up the milk anymore so I'd bring the pre made bottled milk with teats on to be on the safe side (health and safety) my cousins girlfriend recently gave birth and was too tired to breastfeed so they had formula as a just incase but his dad had to go out and buy them ready made bottles cause she wasn't allowed to make a bottle up in the hospital xx

@lollypops, @mummytomollie oh yes I'm intending to take pre made sterile bottles with tears, even if you were allowed formula in the tub I won't be going to the hassle, it's much easier to take bottles already made in. I just wondered if people were warming those bottles but doesn't sound like it x

@hawkie75, less hassle again giving baby how they come think that's why they are the way they are I suppose, I'm breastfeeding but I'm bringing some just incase x

The hospital provided me the milk so I wouldn't worry to much.. They give u it at room temp but I found Mollie didn't like it so I asked them to warm it for me x

They ask you to bring formula with you, but would provide you with the rest as well as guide you.

they have a bottle warmer at my hospital but it means leaving baby whilst you're waiting for it to warm up which I never liked. I'm taking the premade ones with the sterilized bottles xx

I intended on breast feeding so never took any formula whatsoever. Only managed to breast feed for 2 days and the midwife then gave me some of the ready made aptamil bottles with the screw on teats. They even gave me some to take home until we bought formula, they were really good (LGI). He had them at room temperature and was fine. He will now drink both warm and room temp bottles so I still use the ready made formula when out for convenience
