We got her a bouncer and she absolutely loves it. She actually bounces and squeals 😂 ugh I love this little girl so much 💚
@pikapal, thank you! she is healthy and growing, even if it is slowly. :) how old was your baby when she was able to support her head? I'm a first time mom this is all so new to me haha. my daughter can lift hers for a decent length of time, can lift it and turn it and look around, but I wasn't sure when they are able to support it completely. and is your baby in 3-6 month clothes or is she in 6-9?
She's 6 months! And about 2 weeks. I got her (well my dad did, her grandpa) a walker at about 4 months. And obviously she couldn't walk but she would like to sit there and play, she couldn't sit up completely on her own, so I would fold up two small blankets and put one on her back and one on her tummy and it would kind of help her learn how to stay up. Then about 2-3 weeks ago, so when she barely turned 6 months we got her the bouncer. A lot of them say to just wait until they can sit up on their own, but like I said, I would put the little blankets to help her sit up straight. we showed her how to bounce, like I would actually jump up and down (I know it sounds silly lol) and she would squeal and then try bouncing herself and now she does it on her own and loves it lol @jesscami also, ps: I read your recent post and my baby was in preemie clothes for about 4 weeks and in newborn clothes up until almost 2 1/2 months old. It's ok if they're little if they're healthy 💚
how old is she? I'd love to get one for my daughter, just not sure what age to start her in it :)
That's what matters! 💖 she would try lifting it up at about a month but obviously she was all wobbly. But to actually hold it up herself was at about the end of 3 months. That's when we got her the walker to sit in. I'm a first time mom too! And I was worried when I felt like she was falling behind on her milestones. But her pedi told me it's ok when they're born early, it just takes them a little longer to reach them at times. She barely started rolling over about a week ago! When most babies roll over at about 3-4 months. And she still fits in her 3-6 month clothes but I started putting her 6-9 month clothes on as well just so she'll have more time to use them lol @jesscami
