thats almost double. just be careful... and make sure she is actually hungry. you don't want to over Feed the baby but of the baby is hungry fine. People say there is no such thing as too much or overfeeding a baby but there is.

I know, upping ounces is hard sometimes. Try it ounce by ounce. You can always go back down too.

Try another ounce. See how she takes that. If she takes that well and still seems hungry, go up another. Just try it gradually and burp her lots.

average is 2.5oz per lb .... so if your baby is 8lbs then throight the day they should have approximately 20 oz a day. and how many times they eat a day. if they eat 5 times then 4oz each feeding.

I'm feeding my daughter 4 ounces and she eats ever hour and a half to two hours and she's always hungry after I feed her and I'm afraid to up her amount bc I don't want to make her sick

My 2 month old usually eats 4 ounces every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Sometimes he'll eat 6 ounces before bed.
