I had my 4D ultrasound and sugar test this past Friday and after my 4D the tech told me how much she weighed and acted concerned. I was 28 weeks and 5 days. At that point a baby should weigh around 2.5 lbs.. well my baby girl weighs 3.5 lbs already. The tech said she thought I was gonna fail my sugar test, but I didn't, so I don't have gestational diabetes (thank god!!)... but my question is, is this really something that I should be concerned about? Has anyone ever has this happen to them?

No big deal at all. She must have been having a bad day. You are blessed that your baby is growing stronger, faster, just to meet you 🤗
My son measured 3 lb 2 oz at 28 weeks also.. I'm sure you baby is just fine!!!
Ok good. The way the tech acted it had me worried! I didn't get to see my doctor that day so I didn't get to ask questions lol! My first was born 37 weeks at 7 lbs 2.7 oz. so maybe he would have been bigger had he come later! Thank you!
@jeanna0888, nothing to worry about! Just means you might have the baby sooner rather than later! It's good you have a healthy baby! My nice came a 2 weeks early because she was over 9lbs.

I'm concerned about my 17.5 month olds weight. She weighs 21 lbs. Her dr isn't concerned even though she's starting to fall off her growth curve. She's always been on the thinner side but now she is only gaining a few ounces in between checkups. She's a very picky eater but she does eat...A LOT. I just feel like she should weigh more at almost 1.5 years old
My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. rough day today 😔 I had my glucose test this morning and the lab tech said she needed to draw blood for another test first, then I should drink the sugar solution, then get more blood drawn. well she tried my left arm and couldn't get any blood out. then she stuck me hard in the right arm and still couldn't get any blood. well this hungry dizzy momma passed out and threw up after that. once I felt better I drank the sugar drink, which was not too bad, and had the rest of my appointment with my m...
