so my sister in law is practically deadly allergic to peaches and my husband has never even touched one since she dealt with that but I bought peaches (baby food) for my daughter before I knew all that. should I throw them out or should I try feeding them to her a lil at a time? she's 5 1/2 months. I just don't want her to have that extreme of a reaction that young!

Give her a tiny bite , wait half an hour. You'll know if she's allergic or not

give her a bit. Most allergies are not hereditary.

You need to find out if she's allergic sooner or later. If it makes you feel any better- my sister in law is deadly allergic to peanuts, and when Henry was about 4 months old, we took him to Logan's without thinking about it. (Luckily it was right next to a hospital) We found out he's not allergic!

Just because she is allergic doesn't mean your daughter will be. My mom is allergic to news and perfume, but my kids have no allergies. neither do my brothers and I. try a bit and find out.
