so my friend had her baby about a week ago & the other day she took her to the park with her bd and his son. and the next morning the baby was super super sick & I told her it was because she took her to a public park and laid her in grass where dogs shit & on the slides and stuff where so many people have been & she hasn't had her shots yet so of course she's gonna get sick.
she got offended & defensive but they tell you not to take the baby out before shots & granted MANY people do and their baby doesn't get sick but hers did. I was like wellllllll 💁🏼

U can't get sick from outside air .. Also if the baby got sick the day after its more then likely the baby was exposed 5-7 days before that . The incubation period of a cold is 5-7 days

Babies shots don't protect the baby from the common cold anyway. So the baby still can get sick even after the shots and the parents or baby's brother could get them sick. @savvylynn1

It was probably the park, because the baby has no immune system. Idk about the whole shots thing because I'm not getting my baby vaccinated, but I do know they recommend waiting a month to go anywhere besides the doctors appts because they need time to build up their immune system and create antibodies.
