can someone please give me a descriptive explanation of Braxton Hicks contractions. for the last 12 hrs my lower back feels like I have a pinched nerve. it started out as dull annoying pain. then like someone was squeezing a small portion of my lower spine. even laying down. and trying to sleep didn't make it better. someone please help me. this pain has my knees buckling every time I try to stand up and walk or lay down or sit down. Tylenol doesn't work and there are no cramps in the front. just my lower back. I'm crying y'all. at 35 weeks.

That's not a Braxton hick. If the pain comes and goes you might be having back labor. You can start timing them or you may just be having back pain from how your baby is sitting. Your stomach will get super tight with a bh and last a few seconds but they are usually not painful at all just make you stop for a couple secs

All the cramping and stuff is in your lower back. If the pain is coming and going time them. If your having them 5 mins or less and they are lasting about 45-1min you should probably go to the hospital

Braxton hicks make your stomach hard as a rock and just really tight. Not painful at all.
