I've always told people, if they want kids to be very careful on what birth control they go on, now a days with the IUDs and arm implants it's scary! I regret every getting on the depo, after coming off of it was when I had problems conceiving. If I ever go back on it the pill has always done right by me.

it is scary! i don't trust any form of bc at all, i was on the depo for a year or so and I know thats why its so hard right now and I wouldn't be surprised if I have something wrong. I might trust the pill but thats about it,@soontobemomof4

I was on it for a little over a year myself, my body was so messed up afterwards, it took 6 months before my period returned and then it was just all over the place and I wasn't getting pregnant, I then went on the pill for almost a year, it then regulated me once more, I stopped the pill and was pregnant 6 months later! :)

Same here, I hated the depo. My friend had conceived twins while in the iud, but that caused her babies to discontinue developing. Even the pill can cause cancer, but it's the only one I'm willing to use.

it was almost 2 yrs ago, was on the pill, and got off that in September of last @mgncal89

I was on depo for 5 years (3 being when I was in high school and I didn't know better) and my doctor never once mentioned you should only be on it for a year. Now I'm married, have a home and all that but can't get pregnant due to a hormonal imbalance and I feel depo has had a huge role in that and I've been off of it almost 2 years.

i was only on it for a year but I'm pretty sure i either have a hormonal imbalance or something worse but i go to the doctor Wednesday. it's been abut a year ttc and no luck whatsoever and i know its from bc probably depo. they need to stop using that or something @kelcyfreese

@jgood2220 I think so too. Or they need to tell everyone who wants to get on it ALL of the facts beforehand.

that too! if i could tell everyone I would, I wouldn't want anyone to go through it its okay at first but this whole struggle with ttc for me and everyone else really sucks @kelcyfreese
