every job and state is different. I had to use vacation time for the first two weeks then i had short term disability thru my job so they paid me the reason of my leave but only paid me 70% of a normal 40 hour week check.
no maternity leave is not paid unless your employer specifically has that policy... women paid on maternity leave are paid by vacation/sick pay and/or short term disability
you could ask your boss or a benefit employee. they should be able to answer the questions for your job and every job is different with the amount of time you get i got 15 weeks thru my job.

It's not a standard to get paid on maternity leave, some companies do pay you but i know some places that dont

some jobs require you've been there for 6-8 months
