Just wondering , when did my mamas with healthy pregnancies take their leave at work? And why?

34 weeks. I couldn't focus at work anymore because there was too much to be done at home and with doctors appointments.

I'm not leaving until I have her :/ not by choice haha but, financially I have to :(

37 weeks n I just couldn't take it anymore, and my job wasn't willing to work out with my schedule

37 bc I had preterm labor and excessive swelling and I worked 40 minutes from my hospital...didn't wanna risk it

@1sttimemummy, I want to try and go as long as I can for the same reason , but my feet have started swelling and man is it bad !

@landuhzluv, excessive swelling will probably be my primary reason for taking leave around that time too

I didn't go back to normal until 2 weeks after birth only bc I took a diuretic 2 days..so hopefully yours goes down naturally

Ah that's awful! I've been lucky not having too much swelling

around 25 weeks. I have hyperemesis. but still have a healthy pregnancy. but I was getting treated like shit at work. and had a physically demanding job. so I said F this and went on leave

38 weeks.. had to do with 💰.. I was trying to save the most I can.. disability pay is horrible

i was lucky that My disability money came quick like 12 days after I stop working.. some girls on here never got it or took a month or 2 to receive there money

I have been healthy, exercising and working 50 hours or so per week. I took a 2 week vacation and plan on working until my due date unless something changes. That way I get the full 12 weeks with my baby (if I decide to go back after he is born).

I left just before 39 weeks. I was just getting uncomfortable and tired of having to get up every morning! I'm about to start my 3rd week off of work and still waiting on this baby to make her appearance. Luckily my "pre-maternity" benefits don't change my "postpartum" benefits so I'm not going back to work until January and it's all covered :)
