Breastfeeding but substituting formula until my milk comes in. This colostrum is not doing enough…

@stashinavy, you shouldn't have to. my son clutter fed before my milk came in. he ate a lot, and now when he clutter feed he sleep well right after.

I'm at the hospital still n my girl was bawling last night n I was just like this is some bull n called the nurse for formula. She was so hungry she drank 30 ml burped n went right to sleep drunk on milk @cjones

@stashinavy, same thing happened to me, too! You may want to check w your hospital & see if they offer donor breast milk instead of formula (if you care to) my hospital doesn't advertise it, but will give it if they are asked.

Be careful because supplementing hurts your supply

most babies can be full but won't reject a bottle if given.

I breastfeed her my empty boob before I formula feed every time so my supply won't be affected
