worried like crazy had my baby appointment and I'm 21 weeks and some days now well when I went in the doctor did the fetal Doppler on my little man and the heartbeat wasn't strong at all not the galloping sounds you usually hear it was very off!! she ordered a Sono of him and they confirmed that he has an irregular heartbeat so now I'm considered high risk and have to see her weekly and have to go see a high risk Obgyn in Wichita on the 8th I don't know what to expect or do but it scares me because I have heart problems!😭😞 anyone else go through anything similar!?

I did with my First it runs in hubbies family but after birth it went away

im so sorry you're going through this. i have a fetal echo on Tuesday for them to triple check my babies heart too. hang in there it could be something that will go away after birth

I had to have surgery to correct mine I don't even know what's wrong yet I have to wait tell the 8th when they do he's Sono and echo cardiogram to know what's really going on.!? @naty199613

@wethreepeas, are you able to have a normal delivery or are they going to do a c-section!? if you don't mind me asking!?

yes my hubby had surgery as well and almost everyone in his family has had surgery to fix it but my daughters went away I'm praying your baby will come out healthy and strong

no hun don't blame yourself it's not your fault you can't control that, I'll be praying for you and baby everyday till everything gets better him @julianeeley21

I know how you feel, at 8 weeks I was told I was going to have a miscarriage and was still told that until 25 weeks then I was told at 30 weeks he wouldn't have a heart beat later on my son is going on strong at 37 weeks pregnant today god is with us sweetie @julianeeley21

@julianeeley21, praying for you!! I found out my little guy has some heart defects and will need open heart surgery. On top of that I'm on bed rest with pre term contractions that started at 22 weeks. The good news is that the docs can fix the heart! It is always scary to learn something is wrong with your baby! I will be thinking about you! Please message me if you ever want to talk!

@julianeeley21, we see a cardiologist regularly, they closely monitor it. Just know that a mothers intuition is huge, don't be afraid to ask questions or even for a specialist!! We see high risk maternal fetal medicine as well as the cardiologist and my normal OB.
