🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 people hear that their doctor will allow an induction and they think it's the only option. Little do these ladies know that the doctor usually wants you to pick the induction because it's 50% more likely to end in a c-section...which means triple the paycheck for the doctors! 💰💰💰
sooo true, a lot of the complications that happens in birth is due to the fact that we don't let nature run its course.think about it you doend 7-8months taking precautions on every thing and when you close to full term/deliever you wanna drug up and use all these techniques to force the baby out...granted sometimes emergencies happen but most of those times those things that are nit needed causes the emergencies @jennatess,
my water broke naturally when I was 38 weeks +5 days but I was only 2 cm and 75% effaced so my ob put me on pitocin to get me dilating. I went 27 hours and went from a 2 to a 3, and it was causing my son distress so I had to get a c-section. if he would've come any earlier, he would've been a NICU baby because his lungs were barely developed enough to breathe on his own. he came out of the womb pooping though, so if he would've come any later then he probably would've been a NICU baby also for an infection. when I see girls trying to induce themselves at 35 weeks, I get super worried for their child
@woahmama, absolutely agree! I went two days shy of 42 weeks and she was over 9lbs. I STILL let her come on her own, instead of inducing at 38 weeks. Luckily, I have one of the few doctors that was totally on my side. It's like, you have 42 weeks max. That's it. You can suck it up for 3-4 more weeks. Of course there are manyyyy medically necessary reasons for induction, but "they said the baby is big enough" is NOT one of them.
