My dad is so good with my son. He's so patient and never gets frustrated! When my sons screaming his head off he's so calm while I'm getting frazzled not know what to do. And he's so much better at the cry it out method than I am. He knows if he's fed, changed , and nothing's hurting him..then he's fine. he just lets him go and tells us to leave him cause he's fine, which he is! He just cries for attention and for someone to hold him. I, on the other hand..immediately go for him which I need to stop. He HAS to get use to being put down. I know people disagree..and that's fine..but I know my son and I know he's just doing it to do it.

There is nothing wrong with holding a child just cause they want to be held or want attention. He's still a baby he needs that.

Yea but I can't hold him every second of every day. And when he goes to day care they are not going to hold him all day. I hold him all the time. But If I have to pee or eat or do anything..I have to be able to put him down and not have him freak out. I know he's young..but it's better to teach him now rather than later cause it'll just be harder. He's fine. It's not going to hurt him. Or scar him for life.
