After being told by my doctor to go to the maternity assessment unit for dizziness, vomiting, swelling, high blood pressure and protein in my urine, I was sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours before I was seen. My blood pressure dropped a bit but there was still protein in my urine. Got my bloods taken and told to go home and wait for results. The doctor never even looked at me and discharged me. The midwife in charge never once mentioned to him the reason i was there which was because of vomiting, swelling and severe dizziness. Just went through my notes and they never wrote those main symptoms down! Felt as if I was rushed in and out and basically told to leave and not to ring them again if the same thing happens tomorrow morning! 😡

I would ring them again and again and again if ur not well ur not well they have a job to do and sometimes they r just incompetent! If u get worried about how u feel then ring them and go back xxx

Make sure you speak up @canteloupe24 if you know their not mentioning or asking then tell them. If your symptoms don't get any better, just call up again.

@safiamammy1, I'll be ringing tomorrow morning about my bloods and I'll also be back at the GP considering last time I had my bloods taken at the hospital they failed to tell me I was anaemic. It's ridiculous how I don't feel safe at the hospital. x

@sara-lou, my first consultant said I'd be induced before my due date, the second one said he would let me go over by 10 days. I trust my instinct over their opinion so I'll be demanding an induction date at my next appointment on Monday. I do not trust my hospital at all. xx

@jod1303, it's especially hard because my closest hospital is 40 minutes away and I have to rely on my partners mum to take me up because he doesn't drive and I'm not well enough to drive. x
