I get so irritated when people compare my child to there child... Mine was 8 weeks early, yours is full term sooo why must compare? So irritating for a preemie mom 😡😡😡😡

Kids shouldn't be compared PERIOD. 😔 Sorry you're experiencing that.

no one should ever compare kids they should just try to help understand your situation may I ask why ur baby was born 8 weeks early

@tayek @kimborocks93 they're comparing there babies size to him it's just crazy! He's 7 months old now and his corrected age is 5 months and he's in 12 month clothes so I'd say he's doing pretty well! He's about 21 pounds and 28 1/2 inches! And my water broke at 30 weeks

Yup. I have four preemies (all born between 33 and 36 weeks). People always have to compare and it's so frustrating! My 33 weeker was in NICU a month on ventilator gavage feedings incubator under lights on extra calories and antibiotics so on and so forth.. How dare people try to compare their full term baby to that.. A baby who fought for their life and had to learn how to function! One of my pet peeves sorry for going off like that.

@forever223, that would be so rough, I am so sorry! And it is really awful that people do compare there full term babies to preemies, it's so sad and pathetic that people even have the nerve!
