Sorry but I need to rant...
Me and my OH desperately need to move, we live in a studio flat in a really shitty area... My partner is disabled and I am his carer so neither of us can work so we're moving with the help of the council but we still had to problem of admin fees... When my daughter was born we got assigned a family liaison officer who managed to sort out admin fees for us... We have eventually found a flat which we both love and the letting agent is willing to have us move in... All we are waiting on is for Paula (family liaison officer) to get the admin fees to the letting agent but she isn't answering her phone!!! Now we're going to lose this flat because Paula won't answer her phone! And obviously there's only so long that the letting agent will hold the flat for us without admin fees... 😡 I am so angry and upset! We desperately need to move and now we can't! God knows when we will find another flat! Paula just isn't doing her job!

She works for the council... Only problem with complaining is that if we don't get this flat then we'll need her help still @gabilicious xxx

Maybe try calling the council and explain the situation see if someone else could help you with xx @daisysmummy have you looked into private landlords who accept housing benefit ?
