but I add my insurance a day before I registered it then cancelled it the next day the insurance pays u back

Yes u do but some places offer 7 day no fault insurance like LA Insurance that will give u an opportunity to get the car registered plates tags and all that good stuff and once it expires u can extend the coverage for like $200+ more
