Does anybody know what they do in labor and delivery when you go in because baby isnt moving and having alot of tightening on the belly. My dr wants me to go in but im curious of what they do

If they are just brackston hicks will they show up on monitor?

Baby monitors & draw blood & take your vitals. If babys isn't moving or heart rate where it should it will be a emergency c section. If it's not where it should be but baby is fine they will hold you to make sure. You will be there for 1-5hrs atlest of everything is fine

for me they hooked me up to a monitor. It kept track of contraction and baby's heart beat. Literally sit on it for 30mins to an hour and if everything is fine they send you home. They would give me a lollipop, apple juice, or cold ice water to make the baby move. Thats about all they do. Once I went my doctor came in and took an ultrasound just for fun and to make me feel better.

They put you on monitor for like an hour. I went the hospital like 3 times because I feel my daughter moving. They just hooked me up and gave me something cold to drink to get the baby to move. Depending how far a long you are the baby move as much because there not that much room towards the of your pregnancy. But you should go get checked better you know than be worried all the time. You can buy a baby dobbler I bought mine on ebay for $30.
