i just took my marriage certificate to the dmv got a new license with my name on it. then went to social security and got a new card with new name on it. thats all i did.

I changed it when we got married in a county clerk. Once i got my marriage certificate with my new last name i changed my SS & DL.

There is a a company called Hitched and you give them your info and your wedding info and they send you all the paperwork and fill it out for you and tell you step by step what to do. They make it super easy! That's how I changed my last name after I got married.
