Couple questions ladies, would love your feedback.
-What tips/tricks did you use to produce more breast milk? Im going back to work in exactly a month and want to starr a freezer stash so people can feed her mostly breastmilk while im not there. Two days and ive only pumped 3 oz and also been breastfeeding her.
-If any of you got stitches down there after birth. How long did they usually take to go away? I have the ones that just dissolve themselves and its been ten days and I still have them.
Feedback would be much appreciated!!
I think it's always recommended to wait 6 weeks before sex but I could be wrong and I got stitches 2 different spots so I'm sure it's gonna be even longer for me 😣 when you wake up leaking, that would be the best time to pump!!! Good luck
sorry to burst your bubble .. my stitches wook between week 4-6 to start healing. I just started week 8 and we still haven't had sex. Doc appointment is next week for the go ahead. There are other ways *things* you can do to keep the intimacy though :)
As for the pumping .. try in the morning and whenever you can pump that doesn't interfere with the little one eating to up your supply.
4 weeks? Dammit. Tmi but i was really hoping they would be out by now cause i kiss having sex with my bf, wanna feel close to him again.
Hopefully its not infected :( i only got 4 stitches in my labia but seems to be taking forever to heal.
I rented one of those big medela pumps so its hard to pump in the middle of the night May just have to hand express then i guess. Cause yeah when i wake up im leaking everywhere lol
On the stitches, I'm almost 4 weeks post partum and I still have the stitches...plus I have to go to the dr tomorrow because one part has opened up and I think it's infected....fml
As for the milk, it will come in more and more, the best time I find to pump is a couple hours after you last fed your baby and they are sleeping and then also in the middle of the night if your baby doesn't drain your boobs and falls back asleep, then try pumping (as hard as it is not to go back to sleep, it is a good time to pump)
Thanks a lot for the tips ladies!
