How old was your baby when they started smiling? My son only smiles when half asleep

It just depends on each child inviduallt and developmentally.Infants make different face even while in the womb,but some may not develop certain facial expression til later on.It'll come in good timing=) Try things out and see if they work or not like singing,talking happily,etc,and even if those don't work it'll happen when he is developmentally ready=)

My son will be 2 months next week and he smiles a lot when I talk to him and even talking as well oohs and aahs his baby talk... every baby is different... I love talking to him in the mornings when he wakes up that's when I get the most smiles from him..
