Just found out one of my friends lost her daughter @ 16 weeks today due to sickle cell. I feel so upset and sad for her, but also guilty because my baby girl is healthy and thriving and kicking me right now, and I'm so sad that my friend has to go through this and I feel like I can't even be there for her because I'm pregnant with a girl and I feel like she might resent me if I try and comfort her. 😢
