Yes you can get the flu shot. No the shot doesn't give you the flu. People who get the shot & still get the flu were already sick before they got the shot. You can be sick 3-5 day before showing symptoms.

You can ask for the flu shot that doesn't have the live virus in it. The mist has live virus
