So, the dogs are asleep with my mom and step dad. They're up in their room asleep. My daughter is passed out in my room. I just got done watching Pride and Prejudice and decided to take my dishes downstairs and go pee before going to bed. I'm going pee and hear a gruff males voice go "Who's there?". Sounded like it came from right outside the bathroom door. Naturally I thought it was my step dad, but I hadn't heard anybody come down the stairs. I go to the kitchen to wash up (bathroom sink doesn't run hot water) and hear the same voice whisper "Lindsey" in my ear. For those of you who don't know, that's my name. I'm the only one up...and am about to piss myself. I'm freaking out. I know there's a little boy that haunts the house. He's friendly, doesn't do much but giggle and roll toys and trinkets around, shuts or opens a door every now and then. But, there's also an older gentleman who resides here as well. He'll block out the light during showers, slam doors, we'll see his shadow standing in a doorway when lights are off, throws things, etc. He's not a nice guy. The previous tenants (we rent) said they encountered both. They're very spiritual people and say that the young boy is virtually harmless. Curious, but harmless. The older one on the other hand is not as nice. They say his spirit, his aura, is one of rage and hatred. He especially hates women, which we've kind of figured out. When we first moved in I got my hair visibly yanked while sitting on my bed, then got shoved towards the edge. My mom and I have had bowls fly off the counters at us, and even had a coffee cup shatter against the wall when we entered the kitchen. My daughter, I believe, has met the little boy. She's almost 11 months. She'll giggle and babble away and stare at just one spot, then offer a toy or her snack towards that area. She'll glance my way and clap and then turn back. She's also met the spirit of my friend who passed. She used to always grab his finger when he was alive and wouldn't let go. She's been doing that same motion to thin air a lot lately, about the same time doors move and rooms get cold. I hope she doesn't encounter the older gentleman, though...

Seems to be my family's luck to find houses that have at least 1 hauntee residing. Lol.
