This past week has been a complete whirl wind of events and it has been almost impossible for me to keep everyone updated these past few days because recovery has not been easy. It is still unclear as to why everything happened the way it did, but I did have severe pre-eclampsia along with another condition that affected my heart and breathing. I had my first ride in an ambulance, my first hospital stay, my first major surgery, and my first little one! I would go through it all again and fight just as hard to make sure she is okay! Since having her they have removed 4 liters of fluid and I still have swelling! But the hardest thing is going to be leaving our sweet girl in the NICU tonight. Not being able to bring her home breaks my heart. Being able to hold her to my skin is the best feeling in the world. I fought for her, I recovered for her because she shows me what brave is all about! So thankful her daddy was there to show her love when they wouldn't let me out of bed. We are such a brave little family and I am so proud of us!! Kaydence Reona Lanford born August 27th via c section. 7lbs 5 ounces and 19.5 inches 35 was and 4 days, "mag baby". My entire world!
