At the grocery store and there's 2 people in front of me. I'm being nosey because it's taking forever. So it's finally my turn to pay and the cashier says "you're paying with EBT?"
Ummm no! You didn't ask the people ahead of me. Smdh..

The two people in front of me were white and she never asked them. The minute it was time for me to pay she asked me.

I remember going into Aldi with my daughter and the cashier input EBT before I even took out my debit card. when i swiped my Navy Federal card and it didn't work because of her she looks at me all sheepish. I take a quick glance at her computer monitor and that's how i know what she did.... smh

@alta_mama, smh it's sad people profile. Oh and for the record I'm in no way saying anything is wrong with being on welfare. This isn't about that whatsoever. It's about stereotyping and/or treating a person like their less than. Shit, I make more money than 3 of the cashiers at the store as a POS Analyst. Don't judge because folks end up looking like idiots.
