my dr wont stop labor at 36 weeks they might give you shot to stop labor if you are in labor and keep you there till your able to have your baby.

Most doctors will not stop you if you go into labor at this point, so in that way no it's not too early, but if you are trying to self induce then yes it's still too early to do that because you are technically not full term until 37-39 weeks depending on your dr. (Each doctor has their own definition of full term)

I've known babies that were born at 35 weeks and went home 2 days later with their mom and didn't spend anytime in NICU, I've known babies who were born at 34 weeks and spent 2 weeks in NICU. It just depends on your baby
