I've heard of people getting out of their lease for mold as some sort of loop hole... If that's something you'd wanna do, def look into it

I did it. it can be dangerous to your health. kayloni was developing fevers of 105.7 almost every week from being exposed to mold. broke my lease due to it

@kayloniandkirksmommy, when we moved in the maintenance man told us when we shower always put the vent on and when not using the bathroom leave the door open to avoid mold . I do both all the time and yet we still got mold.

@amaperalta03, there was a leak in my window so every time it rained, water streamed in. my wall started warping from water damage and eventually we suspected mold. it did so much damage to kayloni's health. I would try to get out of the lease. we left in time and kayloni hasn't had a fever like that in years, unless she gets pneumonia. mind you she was an infant, we lived there for the first year of her life and it was absolutely horrible taking her to the hospital every week, not knowing why :( I wouldn't risk it....now I'm super weird about mold

@kayloniandkirksmommy, wow that's crazy and also with me being pregnant and having a toddler I don't want either of us getting sick off the mold. We already had a leak in my daughters room due to my neighbors never reporting a leak in their apartment it come down into ours. I need to own my own home already
