i really get so annoyed when my sons taking a nap and people try to wake him up or aren't being quiet around my room or…

I use to lock the door and turn a fan on because my in laws were like that. They would try to wake them up to play and once they woke up and cried they would be like Awh never mind I'll come for him when he's in a better mood 😑

@mommakay3, yes I do that too! but they are literally yelling outside by my door. it's like they don't care bc it's not their little one. my sil baby girl when it's her nap time they make sure everyone leaves her alone. but when it's my sons nap time and he rarely naps to begin with they yell they come inside the room all noisy if my door isn't locked. right now it's locked and fan on. but just would prefer to not have to worry about stuff like this anymore.

Ohh yeah I see what you mean. Has your hubby tried talking to his family about it? I use to complain to my bf and he'd tell his family that when my son is sleeping to leave him be because if not he will get cranky so we use to do is whenever my in laws had to watch them we'd try to leave them sleeping and then make noise on purpose and they'd wake up crying and we'd be like oh shit we got to go and take off after awhile of do that whenever they'd watch them they would say we were right about the noise thing

@mommakay3, yes he's spoken to them about it plenty of times. honestly I just don't think they care of find it to be a big deal. I mean I get it this is their home but doesn't give them the right to be this way. sister in law nor fil or mil but I'm here for now so I feel like nothing works so just have to suck it up until we move. reason we are is so we can save for our home we want. so they help out with letting us be here but i still don't think that means they can be well I guess disrespectful. yeah see I hope that happens to me but I don't think I'll be as fortunate

It sucks and yeah it may be their home it's your son and it doesn't give them a right to do that to him. I dealt with it for almost 4 years till we moved out. I would bring it up to his dr about what has been a happening and if it will cause and effect to him and whatever she or he says I would let your in laws knw about it. I use to do that with my oldest and I would take my boyfriend so he could hear what the dr says

My bf parents do that I hate it they're always trying to kiss her and tickle her feet I'm like do you know how hard it was to get her to sleep leave her alone plus then I'm stuck trying to get her to sleep again and when she's sleeping is my only alone time
