Question: what was the hardest part during labor? And what can I do to make it easier ?
Contractions for sure was the most difficult part. That and having an asshole on call doctor telling you I'm being selfish and it doesn't hurt that bad. That just pissed me off and made me want to decapitate his retarded ass. My husband did breathing techniques with me. He would breath a curtain way and I'd follow what he was doing. It helpped so much. The doctor on the other hand my husband almost beat the living crap out of the guy for being disrespectful.
Contractions! I ended up getting an epidural, after like 17 hrs. it made the rest of labor and delivery a breeze.
Yes. Anytime you get a contraction they will tell you to push. But your so focused on pushing the contractions don't even feel the same. Your mindset will be totally different once you know your pushing that little miracle out 💙
contractions.. and we'll if doctors tell you to stop pushing with baby's head is out and all you want to do is push baby out..
The leg shaking. You can't help but wanna close them (for me anyways) Just let them spread and relax.
Pushing doesn't hurt at ALL. The struggling through pushing is just trying to catch our breath and from pushing so hard. It's the contractions 100%. If there was no such thing labor and delivery would be a breeze.
I didnt think pushing hurt at all, what sucks about pushing is the pressure you feel. but it doesnt hurt.
@tlw1596, I thought it did hurt .. I was watching videos and the girls seem to be struggling through pushing
close your eyes and focus on anything but those contractions. pushing does not hurt, so just breathe through those contractions
Also have someone with you to distract you. To talk to you. Crack jokes with.
The contractions. Try to find a mindset to get through the contractions. Focus on nothing but breathing. It helped me so much. I kept thinking "okay it's one minute of pain... Then it eases up" and breathe breathe breathe throughout the time you don't have a contraction and try not to think about the pain that's gonna come for that one minute you do get a contraction. Use the time that the pain is gone as time to relax and just think of your baby even though it's not much time. Once your baby is on your chest it's all gone. And so worth it.
I'm serious. @brendam96
