The IV meds affect the baby a little and it takes 2 hours to work. I was told it makes them drowsy. But I must say I didn't want the epidural. But when my contractions kicked in when I was about to deliver I was begging for the IV meds. But it was to late I have babies to fast.@pretti_preggo,

Epidural !!! Lol after five days of labor I was begging for it. I stayed at 3 cm from a Monday to a Friday 😡

I'd rather have that than the epidural
