So I'm a first time mom and have a quick question. When did you guys milk first come in?? I'm currently 28 weeks and was told by a coworker that if it hadn't already came in that wasn't a good sign but I didn't know that. I was expecting it around 36 weeks or when I delivered....

Just wait til after baby. Some people leak colostrum during pregnancy and some don't.

That is not true. I didn't start leaking until after 30 weeks and even then it was only once in a while and now I have a great milk supply @shonce

@brookesmommmy, @legacy1989 @momma1416 thanks ladies. She really had me upset because I really REALLY want to breastfeed and she crushed my dreams but I knew I hadn't heard it before but figured I may have just been wrong

idk but my bf claimed he got milk this morning then again he's been lying alot for attention I think he's jealous of the baby I heard that can happen he told me yesterday he cut his leg and it was bleeding during dinner I ignored it because I was talking then later asked where he cut it and he said it healed but there was no cut so I'm guessing no milk either and I'm like 16 weeks lmao

My friend didn't leak at all. And she's been exclusively breastfeeding and her baby is 10 months. Idk why women feel the need to tell others things they have absolutely no idea about. This same friend had a lady tell her that if she took another pregnancy test and it was dark that was a good sign cause she was worried about having another miscarriage. So she took one and it was lighter and she went to her doctor freaking out and nothing was wrong. Don't listen to anyone but your doctor.

@blackbutterfly, @shellbell0391 @katietay34 thanks ladies. I had heard of some women milk coming in before and some after but I had never been told it was bad if it didn't come in. It just automatically upset me because I know how strongly I want to breastfeed

Mine didn't come in till just last week at 34 weeks but like @cubanese said some women's milk never come in until the babies here
